This would be such a cute outfit for New Years Eve. I've gathered all of the 'extra' pieces I own, and put them on, here, for one over-the-top outfit. Oversized bow heels, ruffle sleeves, feather skirt, gigantic earrings. The. works. haha So, I hope this outfit inspires you to be a bit extra for NYE, as well. I felt so glamorous taking pictures in the street, and I just know if you were to wear this to a  NYE party, it'd be a hit!

But, honestly, let's be real. I'm kind of a "watch the ball drop from the couch" girl. More about that life. I'm always down for a fun sequin dress or an unnecessary feather skirt, of course. But, after midnight, I kind of want to be in fuzzy slippers and my pajamas! So those are our plans. And I wouldn't have it any other way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

burgundy and pink

Can I tell you how much I love burgundy and pale pink together? It's a match made in heaven. I've been meaning to pull this handbag in with some pink for a while, but I get scatter-brained and forget things. haha But I remembered this weekend! I really love how this look came together, and I think you'll be absolutely in love with this tunic, should you choose to try it out. It's so affordable, and comfortable, while also trendy and adorable. Win, win, win.

As you've probably already noticed, I made several of these velvet bows in different colors. There are so many fun options like these for purchase right now, and all equally as cute.
I hope your week was wonderful and you have a great Holiday weekend!! As always, thanks for reading!

holiday red

We went to a little holiday party with some family last weekend, and this is what I wore. I wanted my outfit to feel festive, and also match my daughter (who wore red, black and white), so this is what I came up with. Obviously we were both very much looking like Christmas! Our actual Christmas outfits don't include any red or green, so I wanted to pull in the typical colors this time. (Hopefully we can get a picture of the Family in our Christmas outfits, but as always with my crazy kids, I make no promises!)

I hope you're having a wonderful day and have all your Christmas shopping wrapped up. (See what I did there?) haha Just a few more days! I feel like a broken record, but seriously. Can't wait!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

fringe scarf

This oversized fringe scarf is the perfect addition to any winter wardrobe. I've linked several options in different colors. Camel would be a great color, too, and super versatile in the wardrobe that may not have quite as much pink as mine. hah. I also really love these earrings, which come in four colors and are so cute and fun! Highly recommend.

Guys! We're a week out from Christmas! Pretty much living the dream. I cannot wait! My husband has the whole week off and we're so excited to give our kids their little toys and just hang out together. Rest and relaxation (as much as possible with a 2 year old and a 10 month old) is going to be the name of the game.
I hope you have fun plans this week to get into the holiday spirit! Thanks for reading!

red coat

I just love how this red trench coat instantly elevates pretty much any simple outfit. This cream sweater and jeggings would have looked a lot more plain without the addition of the bright red. But, adding this beautiful trench brings in a classic and festive vibe, instantly and easily. Add a beret to keep everything on trend, and you're all set.
Guys, this gorgeous handbag now comes in blush pink, and it's the cutest. Here I am talking about pink in a post where I'm actually wearing other colors! haha But you'll love it!
I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday, and thank you for reading!!

snow in the south

We had a little bit of snow, here, in South Carolina this weekend. It wasn't much, but we rarely get snow, and definitely not this early in the year, so it was still pretty magical. We watched snow fall from Friday evening until mid-day Saturday, though not much stuck around for long. I still took the opportunity to snap a few pictures with the tiny bit of snow we did have. (It's actually snowing in these pictures, even though you can't really see it.) Here's hoping we actually get a nice snow sometime this winter. Lorelai seemed to absolutely love snow this year (now that she'll keep her mittens on! haha), so I'm excited to see her reaction if we were to get a few inches that she could play in.
I also couldn't pass up the opportunity to wear this cute pink beanie again, on our "snow day". It's perfect with this pink scarf and turtle neck. I threw this look together while it was still snowing Saturday morning, and I'm so glad I did. I love these colors against the snowy, cloudy day.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend as well! Thanks for reading!

a touch of sparkle

Happy Friday everyone!! Today, I wanted to share a pretty look that would be great for Christmas parties. The faux leather skirt is festive, but the knee-length is appropriate for work or family get-togethers. And these jeweled pumps! They are the most perfect addition to your wardrobe for this holiday season. They're comfortable, and beautiful, at the same time. You won't regret these.

I hope you have a lovely weekend! We're expecting snow, here in South Carolina, and I'm so excited! Thanks for reading!

winter weather

Beanie: save, spend |  Tunic: New York and Co. | Denim: Lucky Brand | Bag: Kate Spade | Boots: Goodnight Macaroon

I just love this little bobble beanie, as well as this off the shoulder, adorable pink tunic (which is on sale, and a really great deal, right now! The color is called pink romance! I love that.). Pair them together, and well, I'm all heart-eyes over this outfit! Is it more pink and white? You bet! haha But I honestly love it so much, I couldn't help myself! I had to stop myself from buying almost this exact tunic, again, the other day. It was so similar, but, you know, also just a bit different. But I had to be honest with myself, and I was! I'm still proud, because you know me and blush pink.

I hope you are having a really great week! How is your Christmas shopping coming? We're almost done, thank goodness! I've just been wrapping some of them, and have just a few left, which haven't arrived yet. Once we receive those packages, we'll be nearly there! I can't believe Christmas is under 20 days away! So exciting!
