Blue Ruffled Dress

How cute is this little blue ruffled dress? I love the color, the asymmetrical hemline, and the ruffles, of course! I've missed wearing blue, lately, as I haven't found much blue to wear in the Fall and Winter months, so I was so excited to find this little number from Chicwish, the other day! I think it's so unique for the season, and with the long sleeves, and paired with over the knee boots, it's plenty warm for the weather we're currently having. (If it's colder where you are, you could throw on a pretty coat. These ruffles peeking out from the bottom of a gorgeous coat would be just adorable!) I seriously love wrap-style dresses like this right now. I think I need a few more in my wardrobe soon! 

P.S. A sizing note on this dress: I don't usually size-up at Chicwish, but I did on this dress, after reading the measurements, and that was a good choice. I'd recommend sizing up, especially if you're between sizes.

You guys! My cousin got married over the weekend, and my children were the flower girl and ring bearer! It was the most adorable thing ever, and they actually did a pretty good job! Lorelai walked at a normal pace, and tossed her little petals out. But, then, as she's been taught when she throws something on the floor, she got down on the floor to start picking them up! haha But it was cute, and we made it through with no serious disruptions from the two of them. I'm so happy my cousin is married to the man of her dreams, and I wish them both a lifetime of happiness. It was definitely an eventful weekend, with the rehearsal and wedding, and trying to keep two toddlers happy without tearing up a whole wedding venue, both days! But yesterday was a bit more low-key, and last night we got hot cocoa and cookies for the kids, turned on the Christmas tree lights, and watched a Christmas movie together. I'm so excited it's finally December, and we're actually approaching Christmas. It's time to make these next few weeks magical for the kids, and I can't wait!
