Blue Spring Dress

This little blue dress is so so cute, and comfy and flattering. I was planning to wear it for Easter, buuuut, since Easter might be cancelled, I'm pulling it out now, to wear just in case. And, honestly, if Easter is cancelled, I'm totally gonna wear this to my living room, where Easter will be happening! haha I honestly think it will outlast any trends - the sophisticated lace and collar are some of the most timeless things you can ask for in a cute little dress. And, honestly, I can see the obsession lasting a while.

How are you guys doing with the social isolation thing? I'll be honest that at every turn, I'm happy to get out of my house. But, I'm also enjoying the time with my family, and have enjoyed time to get to do all that laundry and some housework that you always promise yourself you'll do when you get time. haha! I've definitely enjoyed that we can still connect online, at this time, and I'm considering doing more instagram stories and stuff, while we're in this state. I just need the connection, right now. Lavender + A Jess Talk About Current Events

Happy Monday, everyone! How are you guys doing in the midst of everything going on right now? We've been home for almost two weeks straight, now, only leaving a couple times for essentials. There's absolutely no toilet paper to be found, anywhere around, and half the food we ordered yesterday was unable to be fulfilled because of low stock. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little worried about the state of our pantry and the economy, but I'm also worried about the precious lives in my house, and also my community. These are trying times, you guys, and we all just need to stay home as much as possible, and otherwise be nice to one another, and pull together in our (online) communities, because that's what we have right now. That's why I'm back, today, actually, because right now, especially, I need community with you guys. What better community is there than the fashion blogging community, full of color, personality, style, and support. I seriously love each one of you, and you've enhanced my life with much more than just fashion.

This look is comprised of some older pieces I just kind of threw together, but I wanted to feel fabulous and have fun with my clothes, yesterday, and I feel like this outfit definitely helped me to accomplish that!
