Pink Peplum

This top is the cutest thing. I always love peplum tops, and I especially love how the hemline of this one is kind of an asymmetrical, bubble hem. It's so unique, and fun! Plus, the bubble-gum pink color just puts it over the top, for me, of course! haha. It's so easy to style cute pieces like this. They make enough of a statement on their own, that they're easily paired with a pair of jeans (you could totally do white, or regular blue jeans). Then, just add a simple sandal and some cute earrings, and you're good!

I hope you guys are having a good week, so far! We're off to drop off my daughter's school work for the past month. She's done so well, and I'm so proud of her for all the work she's put in to school, the past two years. I'm sad that she's not going to be returning to school, to finish out this year with her teacher and friends, but grateful for their efforts towards helping me and her to finish out her work, and feel like we still accomplished something. I hope your weekend is fantastic, and I'll see you over on Instagram!

P.S. I'll try to link this top for you soon, as my app is undergoing some changes at the moment.

Pink Embroidered Skirt

I wore this skirt for the first time on a little date night with Ross, and I loved it from the second I got it in the mail and put it on. I just knew it would be one of those pieces I reached for so so often, and it's already proved to be.This skirt is so sweet, and for the price, I think you'll be really happy with the quality. It's reminiscent of a Zimmermann brand piece, but for a much more reasonable price. (Side Note: totally obsessed with everything Zimmermann comes out with, right now. It's all adorable!)

Happy Monday, lovely friends! I hope your weekend was fun, even though, I know we might all be sick of staying in, right now. We've been trying to make the best of the weekend, even still. Walks are now a daily staple, and we usually go on a little drive somewhere on the weekends, just to get everyone out of the house a few times. I'm definitely getting the itch to get in a few family photos, so I'm trying to figure out how we're going to do that, in the next few weeks. (We usually do two family photoshoots a year - one in the Spring and one in the Fall. So, it's time for our Spring ones!) Wish me luck on figuring out how to do that safely, and while maintaining social distancing. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Puff Sleeves and Crop Tops

I've already discussed my love for this top on Instagram, but juuuust in case you missed that post, I love love this little puff sleeve top! I'm definitely loving the trend of wearing a crop top with high-waisted jeans (or a skirt/shorts), and specifically, right now, a puff sleeve crop top is super cute, and super on-trend. Plus, it also combines a few of my other favorites in Spring and Summer - eyelet and pastels. So, yeah! Kinda obsessed with this whole look, and so excited that the crop top trend is big again this season. I'm obsessed!

Hope you guys are having a great Thursday. I ventured out grocery shopping today, which is really the only time I leave the house - like once every few weeks. I wish I could say it's nice to just get out of the house, but do you guys feel like everything's dirty and you can't get home fast enough to clean off, right now? haha. I'm seriously freaked every time I shop. But, either way, I got everything I set out to purchase, and I'm home now, and hoping I didn't contract anything while I was out. I hope your grocery trips are still going well. Are you going out, or having things delivered? Thanks for stopping by today, guys, and have a wonderful weekend!

Green and White

I now have three skirts almost exactly like this one, all in different colors. I got the first one last Fall, in basically the reverse colors (the skirt is dark green, and most the embroidery is white - you can see it in this post). I loved it so much, I knew I would want the white version to wear in the Spring and Summer. And, then I took it a step further and got yet another similar one, which I'm sure you'll see soon! haha. I really am one of those people who gets something she loves in every single color it comes in. I'm absolutely loving this color combination - a bit different for me, but still, overall, I think this outfit is plenty feminine and perfect.

So, guys! I'm on TikTok now. Which, isn't really saying much. I've made one post. But, I do plan to make more, and it is SO addicting to be on there and watch everyone's silly videos. It's really been a lot of fun to join in on that, the past few days. I'll probably make a few silly videos here and there, but I do plan to mainly use it for blog and Instagram content, meaning keeping it (at least loosely) related to fashion and beauty. My name is @jess_broyles, if anyone wants to follow along. I promise to create more content kinda soon! haha.
Thanks for reading, you guys, and being my virtual friend through all these crazy times. Love y'all!

Blue and White

This outfit is one of my favorites, to date. The little details of this skirt are SO beautiful, it's such a great value and good quality for the price. You'll just love it! I loved it so much, I also purchased the matching top, but for now, I wanted to style it with this cute little blue crop top. I just love blue and white together - a combination I always return to in the Spring and Summer. It's so elegant and timeless. And, yes, I cannot stop wearing this cute little pearl headband. I love that pearls are in right now, but I'd wear a giant pearl headband anytime - you don't have to twist my arm. ;)

The Spring weather and everything in bloom has me feeling so much better, these days. Even though we're stuck in the house for the most part with all this social distancing and quarantine stuff, I'm definitely enjoying the times we do get to venture outside - for walks, mostly. But, also just taking the kids to play in the yard, and honestly, even blog photos. It's the little things. I hope you're taking the time to enjoy the little things in your life, right now. It helps to remember those things that make your day a bit brighter and remind yourself of what brings a smile to your face. Have a wonderful Monday, and make it a great week!
