Yellow Maxi Dress

This pleated, yellow maxi dress from Chicwish is the epitome of Summer fun! I love lightweight maxi dresses in the Summer, and this one is absolutely perfect. The color is so bright and cheery, and it's lined to roughly the knee, but also breezy enough to keep you cool, and comfy. Plus, the off -the-shoulder aspect and the design is overall super flattering. I'm kind of obsessed. It also comes in a beautiful burgundy hue, so be sure to check out both. You're sure to love Chicwish's selection of maxi dresses, and I'm sharing a few of my favorites below:

Happy Thursday, loves! I hope your week has been lovely so far! We're living the dream over here - at the every whim of a 3 year old and 5 year old. haha. I'm kidding, but kinda not at the same time. These are the good days, and I'm always trying to soak up every moment with these cute little kids of mine. We actually have plans to take family pics soon (we missed our annual Spring ones due to the pandemic), and I can't wait to capture a few pictures of them to share with you guys. I always feel this way, but they've grown and changed so much since our last family photo session, and I always love comparing past photos, as they grow.
Thanks for visiting my little blog, and have a great weekend!

Ooh La La | Comfy Casual with Femme Luxe

I know that it's rare that you see me in a t-shirt on the blog, but a t-shirt and jeans are my go-to Momiform during the week, while running around and taking care of the house and kids. This little screen printed shirt from Femme Luxe is too adorable, with the Ooh La La print. It's got that "oversized" kind of feel, but if you knot it, like I've done here, you can definitely make it appear more fitted. You could also knot it higher and give it a cropped look. Honestly, I love regular tee-shirts right now for that versatility.

Happy Memorial Day, you guys!! I hope you have a wonderful day, and check out some of the amazing sales going on right now. I definitely plan to, and I'm too excited. I've definitely placed more online orders during this past few months than I care to admit, but it's something to look forward to, and honestly, one of the little things making me happy right now, so what can you do!? haha Have a fantastic week, you guys, and thanks for stopping by, today!

Little Black Dress

Everyone needs a great LBD in their wardrobe that they can turn to, and this one from Femme Luxe is so fun with the sheer sleeves and the tight, bodycon silhouette. While black isn't my typical go-to color, as you guys all know, I do think the classic Little Black Dress and some black, sexy heels are a staple that every woman should own. And, since it's not my typical look, I really enjoyed styling this outfit and felt like I was totally doing something different with this whole ensemble. P.S. Unless you like a super tight fit, as seen here, I'd suggest sizing up in this dress. I typically like a looser fit than I'm wearing here.

Happy Friday, you guys!! I'm so excited about this long weekend with my family. Our anniversary is also coming up (eleven years married to my best friend, I can hardly believe it!), so we're looking forward to celebrating that (though how, I'm not really sure yet, given the whole pandemic thing). And, the weather is actually shaping up for this weekend, after raining here all week! Yay! I hope you have a great day, and thanks for being here!

Dainty Little Bow Top

This sweet little bow top from Femme Luxe covers all of my favorite bases - pink, lace, and a giant bow. I really don't know what more you could ask for in a top! haha. But, seriously, it is so so cute, and I'm really excited about bows being a big trend again, this Summer and Fall. (Of course, around here, the bows never stop, you guys know that!) I also love how you could pair this top with a denim skirt or just regular jeans for a more relaxed look, or you could totally pair it with a really full, tulle skirt and take your look in a whole different direction. I always love pieces that can do that for my wardrobe! Check out more pretty lace tops here.

Lately, aside from really beautiful blouses, I've been experimenting with my accessories. I'm excited about all the cute headbands and belts I've added to my wardrobe, lately, which are things I typically haven't been super big on. Headbands are definitely having a moment right now, though, and I'm super excited to play around with them and style them in more of my looks. Sidenote: I used to wear headbands and ribbons in my hair all the time in highschool and college, but somehow I got away from that, as I got older. Time to take it back a few years, and I couldn't be happier about it!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you're having a great week!

Loungewear with Femme Luxe

This adorable, grey loungewear set from Femme Luxe is seriously the cutest, most comfy set ever. Whether you're working from home, or just casually hanging out on the weekend, you'll love this cute little set. The top is cropped, but only shows a little tummy, and the joggers are so soft and comfortable! Obviously my little set-up here is staged, (my workspace never looks so beautiful and calm! haha), but no matter your situation, a little set like this would be just ideal for your day at home.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had such a great one, visiting my parents at their lake house. I got to see my sister who I haven't really seen in months, and the kids had a blast playing on the lake. We're already planning our next trip, and I'm so excited we have something fun to do this Summer, while maintaining our social distancing. I hope you have a great, productive Monday, and thanks so much for being here!

White Embroidered Puff-Sleeve Top

This gorgeous, embroidered lace crop top from Chicwish is honestly the stuff my puffy sleeve dreams are made of! I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I'm definitely having a puff-sleeve moment right now, and I'm buying everything I can find with the trend! haha It's a trend that I always love so much, and I know that it's in part because it reminds me of Lorelai Gilmore. Lauren Graham (who plays Lorelai Gilmore) wears a lot of puff-sleeves in a couple seasons of Gilmore Girls, and they always look so beautiful on her. I may not be able to pull them off quite as well as a Gilmore Girl, but I'll give it my best shot!

More to Love:

How has your week been? Ours has been great, albeit uneventful. But, I'm grateful for that, honestly. I've been able to slow down and take better care of myself, lately, and my body is really happy. My nails are painted, my hair is washed more often (yes, I said that! Mom life! haha), my skin gets drenched in lotions and oils daily. It's actually been really nice to feel like I'm able to care for my body, better. I hope you're finding more time to care for yourself, as well, however that looks for you!
Thanks for being here, you guys, and have a fantastic weekend!

Floral, Eyelet Top

How beautiful is this little floral, eyelet top from Chicwish? It's no secret that I'm immediately drawn to pink, and this particular shade of pink has always held a special place in my heart. Not to mention, I kind of love everything about this top. The drapy fabric, the beautiful eyelet details, the floral print, the ruching at the waist, and the dainty buttons. It's kind of a dream, with so many cute little details to catch the eye. I actually wore it for Mother's Day, yesterday, and on top of being super cute, it's also comfortable and easy to wear. That's a big win, in my book!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day, whether you were celebrated, or you celebrated your own Mom. Or, maybe you celebrated being a pet Mom! Whatever you got up to, I hope it was lovely. Ours was perfect, and even though my kids are still too young to really do much on their own for me, Ross always makes sure I feel loved and appreciated, and I'm so thankful to him for that. Plus, I got to see my own Mom and grandmother for a brief moment, while trying to maintain social distancing. haha This whole pandemic thing is weird, but we're trying our best to find balance amidst this crazy time.
Thanks so much for being here, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Bows on my Shoulders

I loved the tie-shoulder details of this dress, paired with these sweet little tie strap shoes. I can't get enough of tie-shoulder details in the Spring and Summer, and I had so much fun finding so many pretty options for you to check out. Today, I'm sharing the CUTEST tie-shoulder dresses, but soon, I also want to share tie-shoulder tops, because I had such a hard time narrowing this post down! haha. Seriously, how beautiful is this "Lovers + Friends" Gilda dress? I think my jaw dropped when I saw it!

Happy Friday, beautiful friends! I hope you have a lovely weekend planned. It looks like the weather will be just perfect, here, this weekend, so I know we'll spend plenty of time outside as a family, and I can't wait! I'm really grateful that throughout most of the "social distancing" time-frame, we've had really nice weather, because I think getting outside is more important than ever, right now. I hope you have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!

White Set

This white crop top is the cutest thing, and I've worn it so many times since I purchased it last Spring. If you ask me, it's the perfect puff-sleeve crop top, and it can be paired with just about anything in your closet. Cute little pastel skirts, a white skirt to create a matching set look, like I've done here, high waisted jeans, or jean shorts. I could even see it with a maxi or midi skirt - seriously, so versatile! Every time I buy a little white crop top, I end up reaching for it way more than I originally anticipated. That's why I felt like this would be a great little Summer top, and it's proven to be just that.

Happy Monday, you guys! I hope you're having a great day, so far! We had the best weekend, and I was sad that Ross had to get back to work, today. We finally put some finishing touches on our bedroom decor. (We redid our bedroom back in January, and we finished hanging one last curtain and put up a chandelier, on Saturday.) I'm in love with how it turned out. My favorite parts are my pink tufted, chase lounge, and our pretty, sparkly chandelier, for sure. But, really, I just love it all, and I'm kind of obsessed with that room now. Lorelai's room used to be my favorite, but I think ours is definitely in the running, now! haha
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fantastic week!
